Research Experience
Aug 2026 – Present
Graduate Research Assistant
Glenn Department of Civil Engineering, Clemson University
Research in Dr. Mashrur “Ronnie” Chowdhury's group on quantum machine learning, cybersecurity, and cyber-physical systems, with applications to infrastructure and transportation.
Aug 2024 – May 2026
Undergraduate Researcher
Dr. Rong Ge's group, Clemson University
Developed an attention-based multiple-instance learning pipeline mapping sparse conductance measurements to the disorder-aware periodic disorder invariant in finite, disordered Majorana nanowires. Generated ground-truth PDI phase diagrams via HPC parameter sweeps in KWANT and built the data pipeline feeding a ResNet-18 encoder trained across disorder realizations.
Jun – Jul 2025
Summer Intern
Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL), Aiken, SC
Implemented VQE for Kitaev chain Hamiltonians in Dr. Larry Deschaine's group to resolve Majorana edge-state signatures and reproduce benchmark ground-state energies. Evaluated candidate materials using band gaps, Berry curvature, and coherence-time metrics for high-temperature operation.
May – Jul 2024
Summer Intern
Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Dayton, OH
Prepared layered AgCrP₂Se₆ samples via mechanical exfoliation in Dr. Rahul Rao's group and characterized thickness and crystal quality with AFM. Collected excitation-energy-dependent Raman and photoluminescence measurements at room and cryogenic temperatures; data published in ACS Nano (2025).
Aug 2023 – May 2024
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Clemson Nanomaterials Institute (CNI)
Prepared and coated supercapacitor electrodes in Dr. Apparao Rao's group and performed cyclic voltammetry to evaluate electrochemical performance. Measured thermal diffusivity on a Linseis Laser Flash system supporting thermal characterization of novel carbon-based materials.
